Here in Arizona, we’re enjoying the last of the beautiful weather as things begin to really heat up! Even though it’s ultra-hot here in Phoenix, I still have so much love for summertime, the energy always brings so much joy & vitality. We’re going on a few vacations so I’m really looking forward to some leisurely beach days, spending quality time with my family and basking in the sun. This month I chose some of my holy grail favorites mixed with some summer staples and exciting new arrivals. Let’s get right into it!

I haven’t been this impressed by a concealer in a while. Not only am I reaching for this new-ish concealer because it has broad spectrum (UVA & UVB) sun protection with SPF 30, but because of how amazing it covers dark circles, fills in any imperfections and gives me that really bright, flawless finish under my eyes. The formula is a light to medium texture, yet extremely lightweight, and the cooling applicator gives a soothing, depuffing effect to help remove any inflammation and open the eyes at the same time. It is a full coverage formula but I experience zero creasing and zero cakey-ness thanks to its nourishing, enriching ingredients such as quinoa extract, probiotic moisturizing agents and persian silk tree extracts.

Warm summer days and upcoming vacations mean a lot of potential bug bites coming our way! I was so excited when this new Heretic product came in because there is a real lack of all-natural, non-toxic bug repellent on the market and this one is special, unique and elevated in true Heretic fashion. As a Mom, it’s so important to me to have these kinds of ‘medicine-cabinet staples’ on hand at all times, especially for our upcoming trips to the beach and summer vacations. It smells so fresh and the whole family loves it!

The double cleanse is a method I swear by for clear, radiant, healthy skin. If you’re not already on this bandwagon, prepare to never wash your face the same again. This method helps to remove all makeup, dirt, debris, SPF, etc. all while preventing buildup, congestion & breakouts. This is a non-negotiable in my routine and one of my all-time favorite double cleanse duos is the Patyka Remarkable Cleansing Oil and the Patyka Cleansing Perfection Foam. First up, you’ll go in with this really nourishing & silky oil to take off your makeup and start the cleansing process. I love this cleansing oil because it really breaks down all my makeup and feels very rich, yet lightweight, leaving my skin super supple, super hydrated and feeling nourished. Plus, it smells amazing.

The second step in my double cleanse routine is this foaming wash, again, another all-time holy grail product. I always opt for cleansers that lather and foam, so it’s no surprise that this is a favorite of mine. This goes in and removes every single trace of dirt, makeup and debris… even so much so that you could really use it alone to take off a light face of makeup. Loaded with antioxidants and gentle exfoliating AHAs, this leaves the skin brighter, more vibrant and totally refreshed. You truly cannot go wrong with this ultra-gentle yet efficacious cleanser. I also want to note that these two cleansers are our two top selling Patyka products!

As the weather warms up and starts getting HOT here in Arizona, it’s definitely time to remind you guys about why I love this product. This is my hero complexion & skincare product, and if you’ve been here for a while, you know my obsession runs deep. This multitasking, color correcting SPF gives a buildable tint of color that works, for me, as a foundation. It could technically be considered a CC cream with the level of creamy coverage plus all the beauty benefits of a skin care serum or cream. It contains hyaluronic acid and peptides to plump & nourish the skin. I use the shade Buff and it’s the perfect shade for me. The non-nano zinc is not only non-irritating and silky, soothing & pure, it’s completely non-toxic and the healthiest version of sun protection we can indulge in. It’s an outstanding option if you’re looking for that total UVA/UVB protection in tandem with a flawless complexion. Win win!
