October has arrived, and I couldn’t be more excited to step into the Fall energy. I have a lot of newness and expansion going on in my personal life that’s infusing my life with a lot of activity and gratitude. It’s full-on packing, organizing and moving mode over at my household and that’s a huge focus for me right now, along with planning out the new space, interior design projects and other fun opportunities for me to get creative and step into this brand NEW energy, which I really couldn’t be more excited for.
Now that we have fully entered the Fall season, and can recognize all the subtle shifts in energies both in our personal lives and activities but with our routines as well. The change of seasons is always a beautiful time to evaluate and adjust your beauty and wellness routines. I encourage you to take some time this October to review your rituals and routines as it’s a beautiful time to get clear on what’s working, what isn’t and how to optimize and elevate your day life. Let’s get right into what products I’m most excited about this month to refresh my vanity!
I’m being called to ramp up my self care during this time of year, with everything going on in my personal life, taking the extra time to myself has become increasingly more important to me. I’ve been adding the holi (radiance) to my matcha in the morning which I’ve been loving. I’m starting to feel the effects of the cooler weather on my skin which tends to get dry so I wanted to really focus on hydration within my body. This supplement is a powder form of MSM and phytoceramides, both ingredients work to stimulate collagen and boost the skin’s moisture levels. MSM is a superhero beauty ingredient that is actually essential for collagen and keratin production. It increases skin cell turnover, reduces inflammation and aids the body in regenerating tissue. The ceramides help maintain the skin's moisture barrier, preventing moisture loss and promoting a supple complexion. Together, they work to restore loss of volume caused by dehydration in the skin and elevate the skin’s natural ceramides to help promote a healthy, supple and youthful glow. As many of you know, I am a die hard fan of the RMS Redimension Hydra Blushes so you can imagine how excited I am about their latest launch, the highlighter! RMS does it again. This beautiful champagne shade is the perfect luminous touch to add to your cheekbones. It really makes the skin glisten with such a natural glow. The formula and texture is the same as the blush with the wet powder technology that makes it go so smooth and appear ultra-hydrating on the skin, almost as if it were a cream. It’s absolutely perfect as we enter a season full of festivities!
Next we have the ILIA The Necessary Eye Palette in Warm Nude. I love this palette because of the universally flattering warm-neutral shades that work well on every skin tone. The six stunning shades range from matte to shimmer and are all ultra-pigmented and super blendable. The wide range of shades, from super neutral to electric shimmer to subdued mattes, really makes it that one and done palette. I’ve been very into using the shades Unite, Cocoon & Grace - you guys know I love me some shimmer! So many different looks can be created from this palette, so get creative with it, you really can’t go wrong!
This is my holy grail hair serum. This gives you a luxurious sheen and a silky, frizz-free finish. It feels ultra lightweight on the hair and doesn’t weigh it down at all, while still sealing in hydration to keep your ends feeling lustrous & glossy. It’s loaded with nourishing ingredients that repair & protect your hair as well. It’s the perfect addition to add to my hair routine with the fall weather as my hair also tends to lean on the drier side lately. It gives my hair that flawless, bouncy shine. I love to use this throughout damp hair after washing, and also as a finishing product after curling my hair! It’s pretty versatile and absorbs right into the hair so you can use it on wet or dry hair.
If you know me, you know that I LOVE a nude lip… and never stray! Lately, I’ve been loving this new lip from Jane Iredale as a mini-break from my signature Kjaer Weis Honor for its hydrating and nourishing properties. The fall weather has also, of course, affected my lips and I am feeling the need for a little extra moisture. I love this because it goes on super smooth, feels absolutely weightless on the lips and keeps them feeling really soft. It’s a really beautiful satin finish and Toffee is just my ideal, perfect 90’s beige nude.
