Summer is finally winding down and I’m grateful to be moving into the fresh fall energy. There’s a lot of new beginnings going on in both my personal life and with Citrine. My daughter, Willow, recently started school so there’s been some really nice household adjustments with that. A big announcement is that we signed the lease to our new storefront here in Arizona at the Biltmore! We are underway with the design process and plans which is so exciting. I can’t wait to invite in brand new energy into our new space. I also just decided to purchase a new home so we are going to be moving! Our family couldn’t be more excited to have more space and again, just entering into a brand new chapter and welcoming in the movement of energy to create new memories. I even reserved a room for myself as my meditation and filming room. Overall, a lot of exciting new updates are on the horizon! I’m so excited to share what I’ve recently been loving for this transition phase. My September faves are a fun mix of a little skincare, a little makeup and something beautiful for self-care!
One of my all time favorite hero treatment products. This unique multitasking product is deemed a “high protein cream-in-one peel” because of it’s unique ability to give you such a smooth, baby soft complexion. It removes every trace of dead skin, plus any and all texture, revealing brand new, fresh skin that’s super silky to the touch & visibly more refined. This is a holy grail product of mine because it gives really instantaneous results.
I tend to mask in the mornings while I do my rituals. I apply a thin layer to my entire face and let it sit while I attend to my daughter, making my matcha, breakfast and whatever else is on the agenda for the day. When it’s time to wash off, I rub it into the skin as a soft & gentle gommage actually really satisfying to peel off for that perfect exfoliation, leaving my skin feeling buttery smooth & giving me the most luminous glow to start the day off with.
Honor is my absolute favorite lip color of all time. It’s that shade that I continuously reach to when I want to create a really subtle 90s nude lip. We recently reintroduced the entire Kjaer Weis line here at Citrine and I’ve been so inspired about all of their really luxurious formulations. I tend to oscillate between the Kjaer Weis Liquid Lip in Honor, which we have been carrying for years, and the lipstick, which is actually recently new to our shelves. Honor is truly the soft pink-nude lip you never knew you needed and gives you the smoothest, most long lasting color. Pair with the RMS Sunset Nude Go Nude Lip Liner and then swipe this over the top to get my signature nude lip.
I’m so excited to announce the latest brand we’re carrying, The Skinny Confidential. Their innovative facial tools and skincare products have been on our radar for a while and ever since I was able to test them, I knew we had to carry them. I instantly fell in love with the Pink Balls Facial Massager for it’s unique ability to not only depuff and give my face a sculpted appearance but the level of quality is unparalleled. After pretty consistent use, I can see visible results of a more toned, chiseled jaw line and cheek bones which is pretty impressive. The balls help to stimulate lymphatic circulation and drainage while reliving any muscle tension, so its great for anyone with TMJ or a tight, clenched jaw which is often a common byproduct of stress. When I want to bring life back to my skin and get things flowing, this has been my favorite facial tool to reach for.
This has been my recent go-to body wash because not only does the gel texture lather, but it also feels like a serum on the skin. It leaves the skin super soft and supple. I love that it comes in a great size because I tend to go through body wash like crazy and the fact that it’s in such a large bottle really makes it convenient and cost effective. I also love to use this to shave with because of the silky lather and moisturizing properties.
If you know me, you know I LOVE a facial mist and even more so, I LOVE an aura mist. As the queen of flower essences, Lotus Wei, comes out with the most beautiful and powerful hydrosols and tinctures utilizing flower essences and this is one of their latest launches. This flower essence hydrosol is a manifesting aura mist that contains gold hydrosol which is known for it soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. I love the Lotus Wei mists for their incredible scents and this one is at the top of my list with rose, cacao, ylang ylang, Buddhawood & Atlas Cedar. It has the beautiful floral notes combined with the seductive and grounding, woodsy profiles which make it really rich and nourishing as we move into the fall season. The flower essences help to bring about expansion which was one of my 2023 key words. I’ve been really calling in sense of expansion and this new aura mist came at the perfect time as we enter into the second phase of the year, it feels like the perfect time to call on the floral energies of this mist to assist me. Not only does it smell amazing and support my visions but this mist, like all of the Lotus Wei mists, helps to actually expand your auric field to activate your energy and guide you into a deeper embodiment of your highest self.
