Summer is finally winding down and I’m really looking forward to the fall season we have upon us. While it’s still quite hot here in Arizona, I’m so excited for the weather to start cooling down. I love September because we are in that bridge between enjoying our slower paced summer, getting back into the swing of things and having a fresh clean slate with all of the activities of fall. My daughter, Willow, recently started school so there’s been some really nice household adjustments with that. I also have some exciting projects on the horizon that I’m excited to spend more time on.
My favorites for this month are mostly classics that can be used throughout all seasons, so I found them all to be perfect for this transition phase we are in. With summer coming to an end, I’m super excited to swap out my most used warm weather products and share these new picks that I've been loving lately! Let’s get right into it.
This is our best selling rich moisturizer for a reason. When we start to shift from summer to fall, I tend to transition into using this face cream both day and night. During summer, I usually opt for a facial oil and sometimes apply a thin layer of a cream over the top, but when the weather starts to cool down, I find that I need that extra boost of hydration and this facial cream just really does it for my skin. It’s a pretty robust product that you can count on to really infuse your skin with rich moisture. It’s formulated with cannabic stem cells and plasmas rich in cell factors from turmeric cultures that activate the skin to brain connection which not only stimulates a glowing complexion but an elevated emotional response. Turmeric curcumin works to actually neutralize the effects of cortisol, the stress hormone, on the skin. I then go in and add a few drops of their Cellular Oil over the top and this just gives me the most luxe, hydrated & nourished complexion. This combo sits really beautifully underneath makeup as well!
One of my all time favorite hero treatment products. This is a forever favorite of mine because it gives instant, incredible results.
I personally love to use it in the mornings as the first step to my routine. I apply a thin layer to my entire face & let it sit while I attend to my Mama duties. When it’s time to wash off, I rub it into the skin as a soft & gentle gommage which is actually really satisfying to peel off for that perfect exfoliation, leaving my skin feeling buttery smooth & giving me such a luminous glow!
This dry shampoo is the best way to extend the life of your hairstyle in between your washes. I prefer to use this over a hair powder because I feel that this leaves no residue or film. The way that I like to use this is to use it on day 2 or 3 after my wash day to soak up any excess oil and add some volume and texture. This way, I am not over washing my hair and allowing my natural oils to still be able to help my hair grow and thrive. It works like a charm and I can’t live without it. I highly recommend this to anyone on their hair growth journey to keep you from over washing.
There is something so convenient about a body scrub that comes in a tube as opposed to a jar. And while I’m all here for a great body scrub, dipping your fingers in a little pot while in the shower just isn’t the most ideal, so I really love the fact that the packaging is very user friendly. It has these really nice exfoliating beads that go in and make your skin feel baby soft. The scent is very uplifting, invigorating, sensual & clean but also very spa-like so it’s a real treat. After your shower, your skin seriously feels like butter, so much so that you really don’t even need a lotion afterwards (but I always do)!
I recently switched over this deodorant for summer and I have been LOVING it. Not only do I have zero irritation but it smells great and I feel that it keeps me feeling so fresh even during my pilates and gym sessions which I’ve been really amping up lately. It’s definitely my new go-to!
