Hi Beauties! As some of you may know, November is my favorite month out of the year. Not only do I get to celebrate my birthday, but we celebrate the anniversary of Citrine! This year feels extra, extra special because Citrine is having it’s golden anniversary as we turn 11 on November 11th! As you may know, I feel deeply aligned with numerology and this date is very sacred to me. We’re honoring this year with a very special Glam Bag shopping activation as usual to really appreciate all of you for helping make this milestone possible.
On a personal note, I am also experiencing a lot of really exciting changes from moving into a new home with my family and stepping into the next year with this really new, fresh feeling. I’m opening myself to this new chapter in my life with an energy of open ended possibility, so much gratitude and celebration of all of the growth I’ve experienced both professionally and as a Mother. Celebrating ELEVEN years of conscious, intentional beauty feels so profound. As for my November favorites, I have a curated selection of my top 5 most loved products of the moment so I hope you find them inspiring! Let’s get right into it.
This treatment mask has been one of my absolute favorite products from May Lindstrom and the one I always reach for to get a really hydrated, beautiful glow. It is formulated with nourishing honey, silver, white halloysite clay, plant oils and a lightly exfoliating acid. The raw honey acts as a humectant to lock moisture into the skin while the clay and acids work to gently resurface the skin. This is super cleansing on the skin so while it doesn’t remove makeup, you can opt to use this as a cleanser if you have a bare face and just want to get a hydrating, resurfacing cleanse. I personally prefer to use this as a mask and sometimes even leave it on for an hour or two to really reap the benefits. It’s such a luxurious treat and is perfect for every skin type.
This has been my latest absolutely go-to favorite concealer. I love a good full coverage concealer for under the eyes and this does not disappoint. The coverage is full but it still melts right into the skin for that seamless finish. It’s very color corrective which is important to me because of my fair skin tone, my under eye is the area I need to concentrate on the most when it comes to coverage. It also has SPF which I love because I tend to freckle under the eye so the SPF is super important to me to keep the delicate area protected. It covers blemishes and imperfections flawlessly while keeping the skin hydrated so it doesn’t dry out your problem areas. It also helps to smooth the fine lines under the eyes. It comes in a wide range of shades so there’s something for everyone!
This is an ultra-luxe lip treatment. As we move into the winter months, there is nothing worse than dry lips. This balm is extremely hydrating. What’s great about this is that I can put this on my lips at night and the very next morning, I still have the product on my lips. It’s formulated with one of my favorite ingredients, jasmine, and smells absolutely divine. I love to keep this on my nightstand and it’s the last thing I put on before bed. This makes a beautiful gift as well!
I love this product for it’s brightening and exfoliating properties. It’s a really stimulating and activating treatment that contains a ton of warming spices, clays and salts and feels like Christmas in a bottle. The powder-to-mousse formula encourages blood flow and brings oxygen to the skin so you see really instantaneous, brightening results as it works to restore skin cells. It’s gentle exfoliation buffs away dead skin cells, refines pores, decongests skin and over time helps to resurface hyperpigmentation and acne scarring. This is a cult classic May Lindstrom product because it leaves you with a luminous glow.
I love to switch up my fragrances throughout the year as the seasons change and going into the holidays, this warm and sensual fragrance suits the mood perfectly. It’s really warm and musky with notes of Amber, Sandalwood and spicy Coriander. It’s a really modern, unique take on a vanilla fragrance and even though it’s warm and rich, it still has a light and soft energy! I love to layer it with Dirty Coconut sometimes as well to give it even more depth and sweeten it up even more.
